The InvestEU Programme is dedicated to fostering a sustainable finance system within the EU by channeling private capital into green investments, supporting energy savings, and reducing CO₂ emissions. With guarantees provided by the EBRD to partner financial institutions (PFIs), the project aims to support loan portfolios totaling at least EUR 700 million, exclusively for eligible sustainable energy projects. The initiative ensures successful implementation through comprehensive marketing, outreach, onboarding new PFIs, policy adaptation, training, product development, and meticulous tracking and reporting of financed sub-projects. By promoting awareness and maximizing the number of eligible green investments, the InvestEU Programme is driving the transition towards a more sustainable future.
