OneHealth_EU nominated for European Ombudsman Award for Good Administration

We are delighted to announce that the OneHealth_EU Instagram account has been nominated for a European Ombudsman Award for Good Administration in the category of Excellence in Open Administration.

The OneHealth_EU account is a collaborative initiative between the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), the European Environment Agency (EEA), the European Medicines Agency (EMA), the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC), the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA), and the Directorate-General for Health and Food Safety (DG SANTE). Managed by GOPA Com on behalf of the ENVI agencies (EFSA, EEA, EMA, ECDC, ECHA) and DG SANTE, the account has become a key channel for communicating complex health, environmental, and safety topics to a younger audience across Europe.

Since 2023, our team’s role has expanded well beyond content posting. We have been responsible for developing a comprehensive strategy, coordinating efforts across five agencies and one Directorate-General, creating engaging content, running impactful campaigns such as Safe2Eat and PlantHealth4Life, and managing targeted advertising. Thanks to the dedication and creativity of the team, and the trust from the agencies, the account has been revitalised with fresh, trend-driven content and visual storytelling. These efforts have led to impressive organic growth and increased engagement with our target audiences.

This nomination is a testament to the success of the OneHealth_EU channel in making important topics more accessible and engaging, especially for younger generations. The recognition highlights the power of collaboration and innovation in public communication.
