Equity & Inclusion

Opening doors to inclusive futures.

Equitable and inclusive societies are built when all people, regardless of background, identity, or circumstance, can access opportunities and participate fully in social, economic, and political life. Addressing the structural barriers that prevent this requires context-sensitive approaches that combine policy reform, capacity development, and direct support to those most affected.

GOPA works with governments, civil society organisations, and development partners to advance equity and inclusion. Our work targets refugees, migrants, internally displaced persons, women, youth, persons with disabilities, and other groups facing social or economic marginalisation. We strengthen public and civil society capacities, expand access to health and psychosocial services, support inclusive education and vocational training, and promote gender-responsive economic opportunities and political participation.

Across all our work, we prioritise the active involvement of the communities we serve, alongside governmental and private sector partners, to ensure that interventions are rights-based, context-driven, and built for sustainability. We draw on a mix of digital and non-digital approaches to reach those most in need, wherever they are.
