Project For Promoting Sustainable Horticulture in Haryana
Objective of the Project: To support the Project Management Unit (PMU) in achieving efficient and proper preparation and implementation of the Project for Promoting Sustainable Horticulture in Haryana, with the ultimate aim to promote sustainable horticulture, improve farmers’ income, and strengthen the horticulture value chain in Haryana.

What you will do

Coordinate with line agencies for post-harvest infrastructure development;

Assist in procurement of contactors/suppliers for post-harvest infrastructure development;

Review and assist to modify the prepared design of post-harvest infrastructure development and improvement of facilities;

Technical guidance on post-harvest development;

Prepare O&M manual; and

Conduct periodical monitoring and inspection of Packhouse construction and maintenance.
Your qualifications
Education:
- M. Tech in Mechanical Engineering / Civil / Refrigeration or equivalent
Experience:
- 10 years of work experience in working designing and establishment of post-harvest infrastructure including integrated cold chain
- Two post-harvest and cold chain projects in South Asian countries, preferably India; and
- Preference should be given to the person having work experience in donor funded projects.
Language (English):
- Proficient in writing and speaking
Regional Experience:
- Familiarity and experience in India
