We are looking for experts with demonstrated experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Support to legal migration and mobility
- Labour migration and fair recruitment
- Migration-related skills development and pre-departure measures
- Protection of migrant workers’ rights
- Student, academic and researcher mobility
- Free movement
- Addressing irregular migration
- Combating smuggling of migrants
- Integrated Border Management
- Voluntary return and reintegration
- Awareness-raising campaigns on the risks of irregular migration
- Combating trafficking in human beings and protection of victims
- Response to forced displacement
- Resettlement and repatriation of refugees
- Return and reintegration of refugees and IDPs
- Access to basic services (health, education, WASH, shelter, social protection)
- Protection, regularization and documentation of refugees and IDPs
- Addressing root causes of migration and displacement
- Conflict, fragility and socio-political instability
- Socio-economic drivers such as poverty and unemployment
- Climate change, disasters and environmentally related displacement
- Migration governance and management
- Migration and displacement dialogue processes (Khartoum, Rabat, Budapest, etc.)
- Global Compact implementation
- Institutional capacity building and readmission systems
- Border management systems and interoperability solutions, including biometrics
- Migration and development
- Diaspora engagement
- Remittances and their productive use
- Protection of migrants
- Regularization, registration and integration
- Children on the move
- Gender and migration
- Migrants in detention
- Victims of trafficking
- Migration and displacement data
- Data collection, analysis and dissemination

Experience with EU-funded projects (INTPA, NEAR, ECHO, FPI), international organisations, and work in fragile contexts is highly valued. Excellent command of English is required; additional languages such as Arabic, French or Spanish are considered an asset.
