Expert 4: Administrative Expert for Local Grants (with experience in Colombia)

Regions Initiative – Promoting the economic and health participation of particularly vulnerable refugees and migrants, as well as host communities in Colombia.
What you will do
- Prepare and administer local grants.
- Provide support and advisory services to organizations implementing local grants to ensure proper implementation and execution.
- Monitor the administrative implementation of local grants.
- Prepare information on the implementation of local grants for the team coordinator and GIZ counterparts.
- Work in close coordination with the GIZ agency on the administration of local grants in accordance with current GIZ regulations.
- Provide implementation guidance in volatile contexts, including situations with security constraints and limited access to sites and target groups.
- Ensure implementation is inclusive, sensitive to the realities of target groups, and free from discrimination.
Your qualifications
- University degree (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or equivalent) in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Spanish language proficiency at C2 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
- At least 7 years of professional experience in financial project administration.
- At least 3 years of professional experience managing local grants within an international organization.
- At least 7 years of professional experience in Colombia.
- At least 3 years of experience in development cooperation projects.
