Expert 4: Administrative Expert for Local Grants (with experience in Colombia)

Regions Initiative – Promoting the economic and health participation of particularly vulnerable refugees and migrants, as well as host communities in Colombia.
What you will do
  • Prepare and administer local grants.
  • Provide support and advisory services to organizations implementing local grants to ensure proper implementation and execution.
  • Monitor the administrative implementation of local grants.
  • Prepare information on the implementation of local grants for the team coordinator and GIZ counterparts.
  • Work in close coordination with the GIZ agency on the administration of local grants in accordance with current GIZ regulations.  
  • Provide implementation guidance in volatile contexts, including situations with security constraints and limited access to sites and target groups.
  • Ensure implementation is inclusive, sensitive to the realities of target groups, and free from discrimination. 
Your qualifications
  • University degree (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or equivalent) in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • Spanish language proficiency at C2 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
  • At least 7 years of professional experience in financial project administration.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience managing local grants within an international organization.
  • At least 7 years of professional experience in Colombia.
  • At least 3 years of experience in development cooperation projects.
