Expert 2: Social Protection and Refugee Inclusion
About the job
o Provide expert knowledge and technical advice, specifically in the areas of social protection systems strengthening, disability inclusion, and refugee inclusion within national systems.
o Support the Pool Coordinator in the detailed design of measures in their related expert areas, ensuring that the interventions reflect international/regional best practice and are adapted to the Jordanian context.
o Implement the required technical measures within their respective areas of expertise and contribute to the production of high-quality deliverables (e.g. guidelines, SOPs, referral standards, training inputs, recommendation documents) in close cooperation with GIZ, MoSD and other partner institutions in Jordan.
o Present findings, recommendations and advisory outputs to government counterparts, GIZ, and relevant stakeholders in Jordan.
o Contribute to capacity development measures by advising on the technical content of trainings, coaching modules and knowledge products and provide trainings for core staff at ministerial level (ToT approach).

Your qualifications
Criteria:

University degree in International Development, Social Protection, Public Policy, or other

5 years of experience outside of Jordan
-
3 years of professional experience in the MENA region
-
English level C1
-
15 years of professional exp in the Social Protection sector
-
7 years of professional experience in refugee inclusion into national social protection systems and coordination with organisations working in the humanitarian–development nexus
