Expert 2: Sexual and Reproductive Health (with Experience in Cali)
• Responsibility for the implementation of services to be delivered by the contractor under Work Package 2.
• Conducting analyses to identify specific needs and barriers to accessing sexual and reproductive health (SRH) services, with a focus on refugees, women, LGBTQI+ individuals, and persons with disabilities.
• Designing, delivering, and evaluating training courses (including in collaboration with the municipalities of Cali/Bogotá), and developing protocols for medical staff and decision-makers on non-discriminatory care and sensitive communication, as well as on the specific needs of vulnerable groups and tailored treatment approaches.
• Developing target group-specific materials on contraceptive methods, rights, and available sexual and reproductive health services, in close participation with the target groups.
• Designing, implementing, and evaluating workshops, community assemblies, and other initiatives to raise awareness on sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) among different target groups.
• Delivering training to service providers on prenatal and postnatal care services, contraceptive counselling, and the diagnosis and treatment of sexually transmitted infections and diseases.
• Supporting the commission manager in updating/adapting the project strategy and in evaluations.
• Providing technical advice to relevant partners on SRH/SRHR and related topics.
• University degree (diploma / bachelor’s / master’s) in Medicine, or Nursing with a Master’s in Sexual and Reproductive Health, Public Health, Health Promotion and Community Health, or a specialization in Maternal-Perinatal Nursing.
• Spanish language proficiency at C1 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
• 7 years of professional experience in the sexual and reproductive health (SRH) sector.
• 5 years of professional experience in designing and implementing SRH programs.
• 2 years of proven experience in designing and delivering training courses for migrants and marginalized populations (e.g., victims, displaced persons, women, ethnic groups, vulnerable civil society groups).
• 3 years of professional experience in Valle del Cauca.
• 3 years of experience in development cooperation projects.
