The “Building a Close Relationship with the United Kingdom” project aims to strengthen ties and mutual understanding between the EU and the United Kingdom. The project focuses on fostering dialogue, collaboration, and public engagement through a series of events, campaigns, and communication activities, with a strong emphasis on social media outreach.
What you will do
Under the guidance and supervision of the Key Expert 2, the JNKE will: • Contribute to the generation, editing, and curation of original content (text, images, videos, soundbites) that promotes project activities and engages target audiences in the UK. • Assist in the planning, design, development, and execution of social media campaigns and digital communication activities, including content calendars, live sessions, and digital events. • Support coordination with social media service providers, influencers, and external partners for all digital media arrangements. • Contribute to the generation, editing, and curation of original content (text, images, videos, soundbites) that promotes project activities and engages target audiences in the UK. • Support monitoring, analysis, and reporting on social media metrics, engagement, and campaign performance, using relevant analytics tools. • Help prepare and oversee the collection, organisation, and distribution of digital promotional and visibility materials. • Participate in planning and brainstorming sessions with the project team for new digital campaigns and activities. • Undertake any other digital communication-related tasks assigned by the Key Experts.
Your qualifications
• University degree in communications, journalism, political science, international relations, marketing, or a related field • At least 3 years of professional (paid) experience in the sector • Excellent writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation, and communication skills in English (C1/B2 level or higher) • Strong computer literacy and knowledge of online marketing and major marketing channels • Proven experience in managing digital media communication to engage target audiences and build active communities in the UK and/or EU Member States • Experience working with the EU and in other international projects would be an asset • Demonstrable social networking experience and knowledge of social analytics tools.

We offer the opportunity to develop yourself in an EU-funded project while working with a team of highly motivated professionals in a truly diverse and multicultural organisation. Assignments are provided on an ad hoc and hourly basis, with a workload of cca. three working days per month. Remuneration is set at 300 EUR per working day.
