Your qualifications
Qualifications and Skills
- University degree at Master’s level in International Development, International Relations, Public Policy, Development Studies, or International Cooperation and Development, or any other related discipline.
- High proficiency in English (oral and written).
- Excellent communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
- Proven experience in project management, or technical assistance in areas such as international development, international relations, economic cooperation, or related fields.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a diverse, multidisciplinary team.
Professional Experience
- Significant post-graduate professional experience in relevant areas such as international development, international relations, economic cooperation, public policy, project management, or related fields involving cross-border collaboration, development assistance, or multilateral initiatives, requiring at least 10 years of experience.
- Experience in sector-specific topics such as climate change, global health, food security, or development financing will be valued.
- Experience with projects or research related to China’s international development cooperation is highly valued.
- Experience working in or with China and/or European institutions is considered an asset.
- Familiarity with EU procedures is desirable.
Additional Assets
- Knowledge of Chinese language is an asset.
- Previous experience in China, with Chinese development actors, or in collaboration with European organisations in international development cooperation is highly valued.
