Advancing Morocco's Power-to-Liquid Demonstration Plant
Morocco's GH2A platform is advancing a megawatt-scale Power-to-Liquid demonstration plant from early design through procurement, construction and commissioning.
A functioning demonstration plant can give Moroccan institutions first-hand knowledge of Power-to-Liquid design, procurement, construction and performance. That experience may reduce uncertainty for later projects, strengthen research and industry collaboration, and help decision-makers understand where the technology offers practical value. Operating experience from the plant strengthens Morocco’s ability to judge how Power-to-Liquid technologies can progress from research to scalable application.
The challenge
Morocco's GH2A platform needs a well-prepared demonstration project to translate green-hydrogen research and renewable-energy potential into practical Power-to-Liquid experience. A demonstration plant must connect research, finance, engineering, procurement and operating capability so that practical learning extends beyond the construction of a single facility.
Our goal
Morocco's demonstration project turns renewable-energy and green-hydrogen potential into practical Power-to-Liquid operating experience. It is intended to create a credible reference for Power-to-Liquid technology, enabling public institutions, researchers and project developers to learn from the preparation, construction and initial operation of a real facility.
Our approach
Preliminary design establishes the plant concept and technical requirements. Suppliers and contractors are then engaged through pre-qualification, tendering and bid evaluation, with contract negotiation converting the preferred proposal into an executable arrangement. Construction supervision, commissioning and warranty-period support maintain continuity from procurement into operational readiness.

Success story
