Enhancing Preparedness and Response: Mitigating CBRN Risks Through Exercises and Training

The CBRN Table Top & Field Exercises, Simulations, and Training (TEST) project aims to improve preparedness, detection, response, and mitigation against risks related to chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) materials and associated installations or sites in partner countries and enhances cooperation among CBRN stakeholders. By building capacity with different types of equipment and scenarios, the project contributes to sustaining the results achieved through previous EU CBRN initiatives.

Interventions are tailored on demand and based on each specific country context. GOPA supports partners in the development and implementation of exercises such as drills, tabletop exercises and partial and full-scale field exercises, provides ad-hoc trainings as well as briefings for CBRN regional coordinators, on-site teams and UN organisations.

The project plays a crucial role in strengthening global security and enhancing resilience to CBRN threats.
