Phase VI of Dubai's Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park is adding 1,800 MWac through three coordinated delivery stages.
The challenge
A solar programme of 1,800 MWac must maintain consistent design, construction and safety standards while three phases move through financial close, energisation and commercial operation on different schedules. Interfaces with substations, grid systems and multiple contractors leave little room for fragmented oversight.
Our goal
Phase VI is designed to add a further 1,800 MWac of solar capacity to Dubai's flagship renewable-energy complex. The delivery programme aims to bring all three stages into commercial operation with verified performance, safe construction and coordinated grid integration.
Our approach
Owner's Engineering spans design review, interface and programme management, construction quality, health and safety, factory tests and commissioning. Each phase is followed from financial close through its staged completion and warranty obligations. Technical coordination ensures that PV fields, electrical systems, substations and grid interfaces progress against common requirements.

Phase VI will materially expand Dubai's solar-generation base and reinforce the role of large-scale renewables in the emirate's electricity system.
