Colleagues from the newly established Governance, Public Services and Policies (GPP) division met in Bad Homburg for their first joint workshop on 30th September and 1st October 2026.
The workshop offered an important opportunity for colleagues from two teams, the PSM and PACE-GOV teams from Germany and Belgium, to meet in person and begin shaping a shared divisional identity. The motto of the two days, “Growing our Potential to Perform… together!”, reflected both the ambition and the spirit of the new GPP division.
Led by Department Directors Cécile Tron Muratori and Eric Verin, together with Executive Directors Patrick Krause and Mihaela Dascultu, the programme combined personal exchange, strategic reflection, and practical collaboration.
Colleagues started by getting to know each other better through networking formats, before exploring shared values and working cultures in interactive mapping sessions.
A central part of the workshop was dedicated to discussing how the team can harmonise ways of working. In dedicated working groups, colleagues exchanged ideas on key areas, creating a constructive space to learn and identify where they can build on existing strengths while developing new common approaches. The discussions highlighted the value of bringing different experiences and perspectives together under one roof.
With this first workshop, GPP has taken an important step towards becoming a connected team in practice — ready to grow together.
