About the job
"Technical services for the production of official statistics” (SPOSS LOT2) framework contract will imply placing consultants to work for Eurostat, Directorate F – Social Statistics for the production and modernisation of official social statistics.
The positions may require relocation to Luxembourg, Belgium, or Germany.

Your qualifications
We are currently seeking experienced Statisticians, Policy Analysts, and Data Experts to join our team.
Key Qualifications:

Master’s degree or equivalent (ISCED 7) in statistics, economics, social sciences or comparable background.

Minimum 2 years of experience (preferably 5 years) in the field of official statistics with a focus on social statistics
-
Knowledge of data platforms and statistical tools such as SAS, SQL, R, SPSS, Python, Power BI, etc.

Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, incl. advanced Excel ·

Advantages/Assets:
-
Knowledge and experience with specific tools used in European statistics production, e.g. SDMX, MDT, etc.

At least one publication in the field of social statistics
